When Erin came in with an idea of using a white powder (in this case flour) with the motion capture series we were working on that day I was a bit reluctant. I had seen this first done by Lois Greenfield in a series of images from 1995 and thought she had done an amazing job back then. Since then I have seen a number of wonderful images (some here on DA) using the same technique and felt what could I possibly do that would add to this work. However we decided to use the technique anyway and I have to admit I was very happy with the results. So much so I think I will work on a series around this theme. Thanks so much to Erin and Amy for putting up with the many takes.

The symmetry, the simple but beautiful fog effect, the entire set is just beautiful, but this one is definitely my favorite, I hope you like it too!"
