The idea of having the flour(?) fall from inside the umbrella or at least give that impression is really fantastic and the result is gorgeous when combined with the great pose of the model keeping her head down as if to protect herself! :)

Thanks, was a shot I thought about when doing the water series and never got around to it.

Well I think it works even better here since it's totally unexpected... The parallel between the water and the umbrella is more evident! :)

Good point and I agree. This would have been almost expected in the water series.

This whole series is gorgeous =) Although this one is amusing in that the water is under the umbrella, not over it. bit of fun there. =)

Ahh! I've played similarly with an umbrella, but water and quite long ago when my skills were still minimal. But you've convinced me to go back and try again.

This whole series is wonderful.

Am I too curious if I want to know how did you pull this one off ?

Thanks,
Catalin

Nice shot btw, although i think there is too much "toe-space"

Thanks glad you like the image (even with the toe space). It was very simple to do, the powder was in the umbrella.

Hmmm... I imagined that might be it. Did she just invert the umbrella quickly to get that effect ?
